Class Description:
Garlic lovers, this one’s for you! In this demonstration-style class, we’ll peel back the layers (pun intended) on one of the most rewarding—and surprisingly simple—crops to grow in mountain gardens. Learn about garlic's rich history, different varieties, ideal planting windows, soil prep, and how to cure and store your harvest like a pro. We’ll even touch on ways to use your homegrown garlic in the kitchen (hello, roasted garlic spread). Attendees will leave ready to plant with bulbs in hand and know-how in spades.
